Business Support

BUSINESS RENTENTION & EXPANSION PROGRAM

As part of our Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) Program, business visits play a vital role in fostering long-term relationships between the OCIC and the business community. Conducted with a business owner, plant manager, general manager, and/or HR manager, these visits allow us to gain deeper insight into the inner workings and challenges of our local industries. These visits also allow staff to develop a clear understanding of your business’ products and the markets in which it operates, while addressing specific operational concerns

Through these interactions, we collaborate closely with our local chambers of commerce and invite them to participate. This approach provides each business with additional resources and support offered by the chambers.

These BRE visits provide an opportunity to identify resources, share information about state and local initiatives, and offer solutions to issues affecting the local business community. A healthy and vibrant local economy depends on the well-being of local businesses. The OCIC is committed to providing our businesses with support whether they’ve been in operation for 3 years or 30 years.

“We know that answers to our questions or access to resources are just a phone call or email away. Our relationship with OCIC provides us with opportunities to learn and grow our business as we continue our journey.”
